SENDING ARTWORK TO VIVID INK GRAPHICS

Artwork smaller than 5 MB can be sent via email to our production facility in Baton Rouge at sales@vividink.com, or to our New Orleans facility at info@vividink.com

Artwork smaller than 500 MB can be uploaded to a general account on our FTP site (see link & login info below).  If you would like a private account created for your company only, please e-mail sales@vividink.com or call us 225-751-7297.

Please include your company name in the file name when uploading to the general folder.

  • Then enter the verification code displayed in the box.

Whenever possible please include a color print out of the final product.

ACCEPTED ARTWORK
While we accept PDFs, for better output, we always recommend the live files in the original graphics format the artwork was created in. We accept both Macintosh and PC formats in any standard graphics format:

  • Illustrator
  • InDesign
  • Photoshop
  • Freehand
  • CorelDraw
  • QuarkXPress
  • JPG, TIF, PSD, EPS, AI, or PDF Formats
  • EPS files are preferred, with fonts included or converted to outlines

NOTE: Files are preferred to be in CMYK. Files should be left layered when possible for correction, if necessary.

RESOLUTION

  • Raster files should be built at a minimum of 100 dpi at final size (or 300 dpi at 1/4 size)
  • All template files should be placed in Illustrator for sizing.
  • All text should be vector unless fonts are included.

SCANNED FORMATS:

  • Color Transparency (4"x 5", 8"x 10" or 35 mm Slide)
  • Glossy Color Photograph (minimum 5x7)
  • Original Art Work (up to 8"x 10")
  • Optional Scans Produced on a 4500 DPI Drum Scanner

COLOR CORRECTION:

  • All artwork should have color print out with files for matching purposes.
  • A color proof will be necessary if color matching is required.
  • PMS colors must be called out and assigned for matching purposes.
