Account Manager

Responsible for developing long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned customers by connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.  You will liaise between customers and internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our product according to the customer’s needs.  You will also be responsible for interacting with walk-in and call-in customers to provide answers to inquiries and quotes.  Your focus will be to establish these potential customers as Vivid Ink clients.

Guided sales training will be provided on the job. On-going product knowledge training, including two weeks of structured learning on the production floor is required during the first 30 days. 


  • Meet and exceed sales objective by promoting and selling signs, graphics and small format printing and finishing services.
  • Liaise between customers and internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our product according to the customer’s needs.
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers
  • Lead sales team and delegate work as needed to Account Coordinator
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Identify potential growth areas with portfolio customers
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Prepare written presentations, reports and proposals as needed. Develop presentation skills utilizing computer tools and present to clients on a regular basis.
  • Visit clients at least once per quarter 
  • Continually develop new product knowledge and acquire better selling skills.
  • Actively participate in sale meetings, networking events, seminars and trade shows.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous sales experience is preferred. The ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written communication is an absolute requirement. 
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required 
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred
  • Proven account management or other relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
