Stephen grew up in Slidell, Louisiana as one of twelve children. He met his wife, Donna, at LSU and has been a devoted husband for 33 years, raising three children along the way. He received his undergraduate degree in QBA/business and a masters in finance. After working in banking and other entrepreneurial businesses, Uncle Sam wanted payback for his ROTC scholarship and he was called to active duty for Operation Desert Storm for approximate 11 months. He returned from overseas determined to start his own business, and has been in the sign and printing industry ever since. He initially founded a successful sign and then software company which were later sold.
He then co founded Vivid Ink Graphics in 1999 and while the company has seen tremendous growth since its inception, Stephen remains focused on getting better, before getting bigger. His passion for customer satisfaction has led to an expertise in the finer, technical points of the sign industry. Stephen has instilled a culture of customer service at Vivid Ink Graphics, specializing in making complicated projects understandable and successful. Balancing passion and prudence, Stephen is known around the office for his honesty and decision making.
A passion for aviation led Stephen to earn his pilot’s license in 2008. On any given weekend, you are likely to find him visiting family or competing in a friendly game of tennis or basketball. He is an active parishioner of Christ the King church; as well as a member of Baton Rouge Ancient Athletes Society, Bocage Racquet Club, and AdFed.
